A resolved work - Hoorah!
The last approach was not using the qualities of the goon bag, I got a bit lost in the experimentation and concept building. So I'm taking a step back.
Whilst I was looking back through my videos I notices how much I enjoy the pom pom shape, its so fun, I'm going to make a huge one!
Here it is!
I want to put it up for assessment with a sign that says play with me, because the interaction is the best part.
I realise that I like art that tells me something that I didn't know, a story, or a piece of history and I like it to be moving and confronting. BUT I also like art that makes me smile, brings me a moment of joy or even art that brings people together. I want this silly ball of fun to serve as a point of interaction. I don't want it to be serious, or associated with alcohol, I want it to be admired for its reception at the touch.
