As I was attaching the camera to the stoby pole there were two people that approached me at seperate times that showed interest in what I was doing, The first guy was on his way to his motorcycle and he approached in a friendly inquisitive way, he read the instructions and took a photo. We spoke a bit about what I was doing and he was skeptical that it would stick around for long. Then another guy came up and got involved, he did a pretty funny pose which was great. He also happened to be quite confused about how to use a disposable camera so the thought that people may not be able to use them had not occured to me before - so hopefully that wasnt too much of an issue.
NEXT - need to think of more responses.
the plasticine... make a mould, take a photo, send to snapchat.
So
I realised that I was thinking waay to hard about what particular movements I could create that reflect my "truth as an artist". Thennn I realised that I need my movements to be simple reflections of how I move throughout the day.
My movements are driven by who I am and how I want to exist

Commuting looks like - a bunch of adelaidians utilizing their smart phones all together in silence smells like - many humans in a small space feels like - a seated body cramp and a conversation of shoulders and knees tastes like - hopefully nothing, dont put it in your mouth
A frozen conversation -
"one student ticket thanks"
"that's $2.50"
"yup (places $2.5 on ticket machine)"
"take a ticket"

Communicating looks like - back and forth dialogue smells like - depends on what is being communicated feels like - connecting tastes like - a synapse of word flavours
This is an integral part of living and connecting with others.
this first stupid video is what communication could sound like
a collection of sounds created by muscle movements in my mouth and throat area that are recognised by others who understand what the meanings of these sound constructions are.
This was one of my first ideas, and excuse the over editing I was a wee bit excited. but. during class presentations the other week I became fascinated by people hand gestures whilst talking. It's as if these gestures tell another story in themselves.
Photos I captured of myself during a mock up conversation.
It does not take words to communicate.
body language is a strong means of expression.
indirect conversation
quoting Ghandi here, this banner hangs proudly in Florence.
This is an example of being spoken too indirectly, it is another form of communication

A drawing experiment: tracing the arm movements of the Swan Lake solo dance segment. My drawing are not at all as elegant as the ballet but I wanted to achieve a looseness to my line.
